A person’s life is like a series of books, movies, or television shows.

Characters will come.
Characters will go.
Some will stay for a long time.
Some for a short time.
All have something to teach us.

Like any good series,
There is love.
There is hate.
There is life.
There is loss.
There is happiness.
There is grief.
There are so many emotions, experiences, and outcomes.

A series consists of many characters.
Sometimes it has one main character,
Sometimes it can have two or more.
There can be a hero,
Or a villain.
There can be a love story,
Or a story of betrayal.
Sometimes our favourite character will die.
Sometimes the relationships we thought were end-game shockingly end.

That is life.

While our lives may play out like a book,
Or a movie,
We need to remember,
Although life may seem pre-written,
We have free will.
We have choice.
We have control.
Other characters do not determine our stories.
We do.

We are the writers.
We are the directors.
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Don’t let anyone take over.
Don’t let anyone fool you into handing over your free will.
It is yours.
God gave it to YOU.
Don’t you ever give it away.

And for those who believe they’ve already given their free will away,
It’s never too late to take it back.
That gift is yours.
You hold the power within you.
